Red Ribbon Week highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. It presents an opportunity for parents, educators, and communities to reinforce the drug-free messages they share with their children throughout the year.
Friday, October 25th: “Put a Cap On Drugs” (Hat Day)
Monday, October 28th: Put A Sock On Drugs Day” (Crazy Sock day), “Life is a Movie, Film Drug Free” Door Decorating Contest. Teachers have students create posters to post on the outside of your classroom door.
Tuesday, October 29th: Be on a Drug Free Team Day” (Wear Your Favorite Team Gear)
Wednesday, October 30th: “Wear Red Day” (Everyone Wears Red) Sign the Red Ribbon Pledge. Students will sign a poster to pledge to be drug free during lunch. The poster will be located in the cafeteria.
Thursday, October 31st: “Shade out Drugs Day” (Wear Sunglasses)
