OVMS offers many ways for students to get involved in extracurricular activities!

5th Grade Math Olympiad
For 5th Grade Number Lovers! All abilities welcome, click the link to learn more!

Art Club: Students in grades 6-8 can join.

Book Club: Getting together to share about great books.  Students in grades 6-8 can join.

Chess Club: The OVMS Chess Club meets in Mr. Anderson's class before school. Members practice their chess skills and compete with their classmates. Both beginners and experienced chess players are welcome.  

FCA - Fellowship of Christian Athletes:  OVMS chapter of FCA.  Students in grades 5-8 can join.

Hope Squad: The OVMS Hope Squad is a group of students whose mission is to be supportive of their classmates and to help connect students to their counselors or an adult on campus if they need assistance. 

NJHS - National Junior Honor Society:  OVMS chapter of NJHS.  Students in grades 7 and 8 are invited to join based upon academic qualifications.

Oak View GSA: A student-led organization that aims to create a safe, welcoming, and accepting school environment for all youth, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. 

Peer Tutoring:  Students in grade 8, recommended by Math teachers, with a willingness to help their peers improve academically.

SGA - Student Government Association:  OVMS chapter of SGA.
