Counselor's Corner
-
The School Counseling Department welcomes all new and returning students and parents to Mebane Middle School. My name is Lilian Weeks and I am your child's school counselor at Mebane Middle School. I take pride in serving you and look forward to a positive and productive year.
As a School Counselor, my primary responsibilities are to promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students. I look forward to offering support to the students, staff, families, and community. I will be meeting with students individually and in small groups, as well as teaching students about character education, career planning, and bullying prevention via classroom guidance lessons. In addition, I'll be meeting with parents, participating in EPT's, 504's, and/or IEP's meetings, collaborating with teachers and staff, and consulting with community organizations to benefit and meet the needs of all the students and families of Mebane. Any student can request to meet with me or they can be referred by a teacher, administrator, or parent. I encourage you to reach out if you have any concerns regarding your child. If you would like for me to meet with your child or would like to have a conference with me about your child, please do not hesitate to contact me.I am very much looking forward to this school year and the opportunities to interact with each of the students and help them to grow and succeed in any way possible! The number to my office is 386-462-1648. I can also be reached by email at weekslt. I look forward to getting to know you and your students over the coming months!Best regards,
Lilian T. Weeks
