We appreciate your interest in volunteering in the Alachua County Public Schools. If you don't know where you want to volunteer or what type of volunteering you are interested in, it is recommended that you contact the district School Volunteer Office before you complete the volunteer application! If you know where you want to volunteer, please complete the volunteer application and submit all information requested. It is very important that the information you enter on the application matches your government-issued identification card including your full legal name. It is also important that you provide a valid email address so you can be notified as to the status of your application and for future communication.
You are required to complete a new application each year. All applications for the 2019-20 school year will expire on June 30, 2020. As part of standard safety practices, all volunteers and visitors must provide a photo ID each time they visit an Alachua County Public School or facility. A national check of the sexual predator registries is completed each time a volunteer checks into our facilities. Other criminal history websites are checked as warranted.
Please answer all legal questions completely and honestly to ensure that you will be eligible to volunteer. Please refer to the information below to answer the questions.
For purposes of School Board policy, convicted means there has been a determination of guilt as a result of a trial or the entry of a plea of nolo contendere, regardless of whether adjudication is withheld, entered into a deferred prosecution or pre-trial diversion agreement, have charges now pending against you, or have sealed or expunged records.
Tips for Completing the Application
*Enter your full name and address as it appears on your driver's license.
*Please choose only the school(s) where you would like to volunteer. You can only fill out one application. Check all of your children's schools and list their names and grades in the appropriate fields.
*Raptor does not work well in all browsers. Use Explorer or Firefox for the best results.
*Make sure you scroll down to the end of each section of the application to complete all requested information.
*If you don't get an approval email within 72 hours, check your SPAM mail.
*Don't forget to click on "Finish" to complete your application.
