CRISS Training Information

  • Project CRISS (CReating Independence through Student-owned Strategies) is a professional development program designed to provide teachers with a variety of strategies to enhance student learning.  These strategies can be used across all content areas and grade levels.  Once teachers learn, model, and use these strateiges, students develop a self-awareness of which strategies best fit their needs and learning styles.  Students internalize the strategies and utilize them to increase independent learning.

CRISS trainings are offered multiple times throughout the year by a district cadre of trainers.

Schedules will be posted on the district calendar and advertised at school sites through Staff Development flyer.
