  • Requirements for Bus Aides:

    • Submit an online application for employment in a form prescribed by the school board
    • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, fingerprinting, and criminal history background check
    • Successfully complete the required pre-service training under the guidelines of the State of Florida, Department of Education
    • Acquire annual certification of ESE training for correct security procedures for wheelchairs, car seats, safety vest, etc., when appropriate

    New Bus Drivers:

    We will pay you to train for your CDL Class B licensing with the Passenger and School Bus Endorsements.

    Requirements for Bus Drivers:

    • Must be 21 years of age
    • High School Dilpoma or GED
    • Valid driver's license
    • Safe Driving Record
    • Pass a background check
    • Successfully Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, fingerprinting, and criminal history background check
    • No DUI/Reckless Driving Charges
    • Submit an online application for employment in a form prescribed by the school board
