Requirements

Requirements for Bus Aides:

Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, fingerprinting, and criminal history background check

Successfully complete the required pre-service training under the guidelines of the State of Florida, Department of Education

Acquire annual certification of ESE training for correct security procedures for wheelchairs, car seats, safety vest, etc., when appropriate

New Bus Drivers:

We will pay you to train for your CDL Class B licensing with the Passenger and School Bus Endorsements.

Requirements for Bus Drivers:

Must be 21 years of age

High School Diploma or GED

Valid driver's license

Safe Driving Record

Pass a background check

Successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, fingerprinting, and criminal history background check

No DUI/Reckless Driving Charges

Submit an online application for employment in a form prescribed by the school board
