Required Reading

Incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students have summer reading assignments to expand their horizons and prepare them for the upcoming semester. See the links to the right for your student's summer reading assignments.

Band & Art

Every summer Lincoln Middle School offers summer band and art enrichment programs. They range from beginning to advanced. This is strongly recommended for new students in the program as they will get to establish themselves at Lincoln Middle School before school even starts. Also these students will be able to advance faster and further on their instrument of choice. Students can choose to take both band and art or they may select one or the other. Look for your application in your welcome packet or pick one up in the front office at Lincoln Middle School.

Online Courses

Some students and parents choose to accelerate their course schedule for mathematics and/or foreign language. Florida Virtual School (FLVS) offers free courses for all Florida Students. Enrollment is year-round, so students can start courses at any time. This is a popular option for accelerating a student's course progression in mathematics.
