Newberry High School

The Newberry High School National Honor Society is part of the nationwide organization for high school students in the United States and outlying territories, which consists of many chapters in high schools. Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship (academic achievement), leadership, service, and character. Eligible students are invited to join the NHS National Honor Society during the 10th grade. Members participate in meetings and schoolwide incentives for academic excellence. The NHS National Honor Society hosts the Children's Miracle Network Dance Marathon (UF) every year and had a record-breaking fundraising event in 2022-23.
