Florida Virtual School

The Florida Virtual School provides internet-based instruction. A wide variety of courses are offered through Florida Virtual School, and they are free of charge to Florida students.
Students are assigned to an instructor who monitors and guides their progress. Teachers communicate with each student by phone and e-mail. Students are able to work at their own pace, at any time of the day and from any location.
A computer with internet access and permission from parents and a school guidance counselor are required for enrollment in Florida Virtual School.
