In 2018, the residents of Alachua County overwhelmingly approved the adoption of a half-cent sales tax to support the building of new schools and the reconstruction/renovation of existing schools and construction of new classrooms throughout Alachua County. ACPS wants to ensure small (SBE) and diverse (MBE, WBE, VOSB, etc.) businesses interested in doing business with Alachua County Public Schools have access to this unprecedented opportunity.
