Every year, students and their parents sign a document stating that they are aware of the meaning of "academically honest and authentic work" as defined by IB and Eastside High School and that they understand the consequences of submitting dishonest work. A document that provides detailed information and examples addressing this topic is located on the right-hand side of this page under the Contents heading. While we discuss this important topic in classes, we fully encourage families to have their own discussions at home. Dishonest scholarship can potentially result in loss of the IB Diploma and/or dismissal from the Eastside IB Diploma program.
