Littlewood Media Center Collection Development Plan

Our mission is to provide quality literature and resources to the Littlewood Elementary community in order to stimulate creativity, intellectual curiosity, and to facilitate lifelong learning and research.

Library Media Center is open:

Monday through Friday
Hours 7:15 to 2:00

All Littlewood students have access to our media center.

Kindergarten students come one day a week and check out one book which they keep in their rooms to begin with - possibly bringing them home later in year with parents' permission.

First graders check out one book at a time and are able to keep the book for one week. First graders may take books home but it is not required.

Second-Fifth graders may check out two books at a time. These books are also due after one week. One book is expected to be an Accelerated Reader book.

When a student loses or damages a book, he/she is responsible for paying the replacement cost of the book. Overdue notices will be sent home monthly.
