    Noro Virus information,

    Hello Parents of Meadowbrook Students.

Every year the NoroVirus goes around Gainesville. This is commonly known as the stomach flu. In the past some schools have closed for a few days because so many children and teachers were sick.

This virus is very contagious, contact with only a very small amount is needed to make a person sick. Many sources say that hand sanitizers are not as effective as hand washing with the Norovirus. Frequent hand washing is the best way to keep it in check.

The following link has useful information on control of the Norovirus
