The program has flexibility of length depending on the needs and career goals of the student. Students completing 3 credits or more are eligible for the Florida Scholarship Program, students earning their certifications are eligible for the CTE Gold Seal Scholarship program, which have the potential to be a FULL  4- year scholarship.

Students can attain advanced standing for competencies achieved in this program. Articulation agreements are currently in place at Johnson and Wales University, Culinary Institute of America, Daytona State College, and the University of Central Florida.
