At the Institute of Culinary Arts our students are not only passionate about food, competitions are an intregal part of their education and experience in the program. Competition season is a great way to win awards but also a great way to earn those much needed scholarship dollars for college! Our students participate in SkillsUSA and American Culinary Federation sponsored events throughout the year. Most recently sweeping first place at regional, and state culinary competition and placing 5th overall in the nation. From culinary to baking and wedding cake design to restaurant service, there's a competition to fit most any students interest.  Want to design meals for NASA astronauts? There is a competition for that!! Our team last year placed 8th in the nation and took home over $12,000 EACH in scholarship dollars.
