Florida’s K-12 assessment system measures students’ achievement with Florida's  B.E.S.T. (Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking) Standards. Students in elementary school will be assessed using the F.A.S.T. (Florida Assessment of Student Thinking) which is designed to measure the benchmarks of the B.E.S.T. Standards at each grade level.
