• Principal's Message

    Welcome to Newberry High School!

    I am very excited to write this letter of introduction to you as I begin my fifth year as the Principal of Newberry High School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school that I truly love and adore. Being a graduate of NHS, I often say this is my “dream job.” I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than 25 years. I have worked with a variety of students ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I am excited and eager to bring my experience as an educational leader to Newberry High School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure every students' success.

    Along with teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue Newberry High School’s legacy of success building strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners. We will focus on character education initiatives, use of data to drive instruction and provide consistent implementation of the curriculum in a rigorous manner so that we can continue to increase all of our students’ achievements.

    All of us at Newberry High School are eager and excited to begin what promises to be the best year ever. This year is going to be amazing as we continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relevant and help them build relationships while making real world connections. As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors - teachers, students, parents - are eager to be part of the Panther Nation. This eagerness enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive and nurturing environment.
