Students come to the Media Center as part of their weekly specials rotation. Students are also welcome in the library with a pass from their teacher between 8 am and 11 am or between 11:45 am and 1 pm. 

Students in 1st grade and Kindergarten can check out one book at a time. These books are kept in the student's classroom and should be returned when their class comes to the Media Center with their class. 

Students in 2nd grade through 5th grade can check out two books at a time. They can take these books home, however they are due back after two weeks. If a student needs more time to finish a book, they may renew it up to 3 times.

Students with overdue books will not be permitted to check out additional books. If a book is lost, we would appreciate receiving the cost of the book, which will then be used to order a new one. A new book will also be accepted as a trade for a lost book.

The Media Center is a quiet and calm place and the behavior expectations reflect this.

We love books and sharing them, so please come in and find one to borrow!
