In order to keep children safe, and keep drop-off and pick-up as efficient as possible, our school has adopted these protocols. We ask that all caregivers review and follow the protocols in order to contribute to our safe school culture and demonstrate consideration and respect for all.  

Drop off and pick-up should occur only from the lot adjacent to US 441.  Parents may turn onto NW 135^th Terrace from US 441, make a left onto NW 151 Place, then turn right into the school parking lot and pick up lane. Dropping off and picking up in the bus loop off NW 152^nd Place is strictly prohibited as this route is for buses only. Drivers must remain in their vehicles while parked in the pick-up lane and must display an AES Car Pickup Sign on their windshield.

The staff will help all children to their cars in the afternoon. At all other times, parking in the drop off/pick up lane is strictly prohibited. While in the car pick up lane, please pull all the way forward. A staff member will escort your child to your car. 

Tardy Students:  Students who are late for school must be escorted to the front office by an adult.  Parents should park in the front parking lot (adjacent to US 441) and walk their child in to the front office.  Please do not use the drop off lane for late arrivals.

Picking Up Children From School Early: Children are not released directly from the classroom to leave school before dismissal times. Please come to the front office first to show the proper ID and sign out your child. Students will only be released to adults listed on a child’s emergency card. In order to maintain a safe and orderly dismissal routine, early check-outs are not permitted after 1:20 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 12:10 pm on Wednesdays.
