  • Accounts are generated within 24 hours of joining the school/department. Usernames and temp passwords are distributed by the school/department administration.

General information about password enrollment

    AD Password enrollment will automate password synchronization between AD and other major systems such as GMail, Skyward and O365. 

    Please Note:

    • You may not use your first or last name as part of the password. For example, for the name "Erin M. Hagens," this user could not have a password that included either "erin" or "hagens" anywhere in the password.

    Password requirements:

    • Password length is a minimum of 8 characters.
    • Passwords must contain characters from three of the following four categories: 
      • Uppercase characters 
      • Lowercase characters
      • 0 through 9
      • Non alphanumeric characters: @ # $ % ^ & * - _ ! + = [ ] { } | \ : ‘ , . ? / ` ~ " ( ) ;
    • The password history policy setting remembers several previous passwords. You cannot use the same password when your password expires.
    • For compliance with O365, passwords must be a minimum of  8 and maximum of 16 characters and must not contain:

      • any spaces
      • common proper name
      • login ID
      • email address
      • initials
      • first, middle or last name
